I’m a proud graduate of State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo, where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, and the College for Financial Planning. In addition, I hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification – exemplifying my commitment to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. I began working in financial planning as a junior in college so you could say I have been doing this my whole adult life (probably longer)! You can read more about why I got into financial planning HERE. These early experiences taught me that there is a right and a wrong way to be a financial planner.
I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY the son of a teacher and auto industry executive. My wife, Rebecca, and I live in Elmwood Village of downtown Buffalo with our daughters Reese, Ruthie and Raffie and our golden retriever, Ruben. Sports have always been a big part of my life as I played golf, baseball and basketball in high school. I still play, but baseball has turned into bar league softball. Rebecca and I are avid bike riders (she is much better than me as she does triathlons and wins some!). A passion of both Rebecca and mine is travel so we try and go on as many trips as we can. You can read more about our travels in my years in review below. We are able to take so many trips because we try and stay with family or friends whenever possible and also use our credit card rewards for free flights and hotel stays.
